Right now if your order status says 10/14. That is the date. It changed on Saturday to 10/21 for a lot of people due to the overwhelming preorders they received. Once their system was sorted, the dates for people changed back to 10/14. Anyone that placed an order for the 16gb after 6pm on Friday the 7th, more than likely have a 10/21 date. Those that ordered a 32 or 64gb after 6pm on the 7th, had some leeway in regards to cutoff time. So right now if your shipping says 10/14, you will receive it that day.
Also i saw the email that was sent out to stores too, when i went into preorder the 16gb version: It said that 16gb preorders in both white and black were depleted and only 32 and 64gb versions were still available for the 14th launch. The cutoff for those versions was around 8-10am on Saturday the 8th.
