iPod touch not an ipod touch but where else o post?

I have a third gen ipod 40 gig and need a dock not a connector, cannot find one on ebay

any help?

also the ipod only shows an apple symbol and wont boot up and i cannot get it in to disk mode, what can i do?

When you say dock connector what are you referring to, the cable with the dock connector on the bottom, or a dock itself?

the firewire or usb and the box that sits under the ipod, so yeah the cable with the doc connector on the bottom i suppose?

i need to purchase one and cannot find one on ebay at all for the third gen ipods.
