Hello,
I recently installed Mac OS 10.12.6 on a mid 2012 Mac Pro. The computer is headless, and I screenshare in to it using a VPN for work (computer is on-site, I am off-site).
I will routinely just drag and drop files from my desktop to that computer to get files in to the studio.
When doing uploads this way, the receiving computer has always created a file with the extension ".ssdownload". I always assumed that meant "screen share download" . but I could be wrong.
Anyway, since the OS upgrade, when the download comletes, the completed uploaded file or folder is there, but it does not automatically remove the .ssdownload file. I didn't realize it at first, and people started asking me why all of my uploads have this thing and what does it mean? Any rational human being could see that there is a complete version with the same exact name right next to it, it could probably be ignored. But as I am sure most of you are aware, most people are not rational, free-thinkers.
Any idea why This OS doesn't seem to automatically remove those files and how to make it happen?
Thanks!
