not being charged for buying apps

I'm runnig on 10.7.1 and when I buy an app I'm not getting charged. I know that it takes a while to show on my statement but when I check my account before and after buying an app the amount doesn't change. When I buy other thing from other stores online the money is gone after I make the purchase but it is show days later.
I used to get email of purchase from the appstore even when installing free aps...but not any more. I've spent around £10 on apps...and still nothing. When I use my apple id on an iphone I get charged instantly...but not on my mac.
I don't mind this....but has any one had this problem....lovely problem?

They are saved up and billed for periodically. I think it is so they don't need to bill you for every 59p you spend.

Lets say it is as you says...then why do I see the charges when buy on an iphone...even on 69p apps? I'm gonna wait some more time before I buy other apps to see if they charge me...but I do hope they don't. If this is an error from lion...hope they don't find out and fix it.
