Maybe I'm being a little critical but today Otterbox really annoyed me!

I've purchased around 20 or so Otterbox products including cases for iPhones, iPads, and several other phones. Most recently, I purchased 4 Commuter cases for my in-laws Droid RAZR HD's and all 4 had issues with the silicone stretching and ripping in the first 6 months. The warranty replacements were approved but the black/black case had been discontinued so I would have to settle for a black/grey replacement. To make things worse, it's going to take at least 4 weeks or more to receive it.

Due to the back order issue, I was offered a different case for a different phone instead of waiting for the back order. I chose a Symmetry case for my wife's iPhone 6. Then I could just purchase the replacement for the back ordered case myself, through Amazon, and receive it in a few days. The rep tried to process the order but then came back to inform me that she couldn't do any case for the iPhone 6 and that I would have to choose another "older" phone case. I mean a piece of plastic is a piece of plastic... right?

So I was basicly informed that a warranty replacement will take weeks to months to receive even though I can get the same case in a few days from Amazon... Nice warranty Otterbox!
