I'm sure there are a few of you holding off, including me. I have the original and it's still useful to me.

I gotta say, it's really tempting to upgrade but one thing kept me from buying the new best thing: screen resolution. I am holding off for iPad 3 and will continue to enjoy my iPad.

What's your excuse?

I agree. Plus, from what I read, the cameras are horrible for taking still pictures. I know, I know...they are for facetime video, but some people might want a decent still camera, too.

Uh, can't think of any excuses to wait.
iPad in hand, iPad2 on order (online)
And will, most likely get the next iPad when it's released as well.

I did exercise some self control with the iPhone4 though. Didn't relish signing another contract with AT&T and ran away from Verizon years ago because of poor service.

If you were buying a 10 inch touch screen in order to get a camera, i have bad news for you...

Well I wouldn't say I passed on it really but I really can't wait until Apple is able to bring out a retina display at the same price point which will be a long while.

My iPad 1 is perfecty fine, does just what I want it to. But new iPad is so tempting, even though there's not that much difference. It's more of an emotional thing. And I hate myself for that, I fear my bank balance will hate me for it to.

First gen works just fine, so I'll wait to see what the next one offers. The upgrades just are not tempting me.

First Apple product launch iPhone/iPad that I did not get the device on launch day. Just did not feel right. I love my iPad, there is nothing out there yet that makes me want to upgrade. Might get a Nook Color this weekend and load Honeycomb on it.

If I had to pick one, it's the Screen Resolution.

My reason is, savings. I saved almost $200 by going with a new 64GB iPad 3G.

screen resolution was the main reason for me but the only reason why i would buy it is just knowing it's lighter and knowing it has dual cores.

Another vote for the s reem resolution. I'm happy with my iPad 1. For my needs I'll not really notice the speed of the dual core

Pssh, I take my 27" Apple Cinema Display everywhere I go to take photos. This is no excuse to not have better cameras in the iPad!
