Not changing View

hi i'm trying to make an universal app. When i load the iphone version it works perfectly nothing is wrong. When i load the ipad version i cannot get past the main menu (loaded at the start) if i tap a button to got to the game all i can see is the Main Window. if i then change the code so it the ipad version loads an iphone viewController it works :mad: Please help!
