ok my touch is jailbreaked.

1. how do I get my own background images onto my touch? what size do they need to be as far as length and width?

2. how do I get programs onto my phone? programs that aren't on I tunes? how do I add buttons to my main page?

Launch Cydia and add Winterboard.

Again Cydia - load OpenSSH if it is not already installed. Mine was.
