This happens quite frequently and it's quite annoying ..,,I have to turn off wifi and turn it back on for it to work . This doesn't happen of any other device I own like my game consoles , note 4 or laptop

Not connected to Internet ?

Make & model of your WiFi router?

Some netgear router but I highly doubt it's my router considering I have 8 other devices on it with no issues at all ever

- I can check the model but it's an old G router . I only get a max speed of 50mbps according to my ISP and thus no dire need to get an N router nor feel the need to spend for an expensive ac router yet

You could:
  • reboot the iPad
  • reboot the router
  • get the iPad to delete the WiFi and adding it again (the (i) by the WiFi name > forget)
  • reset the network settings (settings > general > reset)

Hope that helps

I've tried all that already and no luck . Sadly :(

I'd highly recommend trying a new router. It's likely some never going to get fixed bug in your routers firmware that your iPad can't cope with.

Been happening a lot to me recently. I toggle wifi off and then back on and it corrects it for me. Good luck.
