I just tried downloading a 134mb file onto my rMBP but I got the alert that "There isn't enough free space on Macintosh HD to save the download." I did just Boot Camp it but I still have over 130Gb of free space on my Mac partition. Does anybody know why it's telling me I don't have enough space when I clearly do?

I'll try those, and I'm on Mountain Lion. I don't use Time Machine.

I tried all of those and they all show I have 136Gb of free space. And I just tried downloading the file again after deleting a 3Gb file and it still said there wasn't enough space, which is impossible not only because I have enough disk space but I just freed up almost 30x more space than that one file needs.
