My wife’s iPhone 6 hasn’t backed up to iCloud in almost a year due to space issues. We have backed it up to a computer just to be safe. She is running 10.3.3 iOS iirc. She has not upgraded to 11 yet.
I was trying to avoid paying for more space if possible. I had turned off backups for photos. Also went through and turned off backups for most (but not all) apps. The ones that were left were very small.
It still says the next backup size is over 6gigs. I cannot find where the data is hatbis taking up all that space.
I searched this forum and didn’t find any threads although I am sure this has been asked before.
Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look Etc to figure this out???
I ended up just upgrading her to 50gigs of iCloud space so she can backup for now. I know it’s cheap. It’s not a matter of the money.
