So i saw in the Infinity Blade post on the iOS blog that Asphault 7: Heat was also free now.

I see on the app store it is a 1.25GB game.

I currently have 2.4GB Available, yet i'm getting the message that there is not enough available local storage.

Are there temporary files that get downloaded when installing an app that get removed? If so how big are these?

For example i saw on the App store that Infinity Blade is only 624MB on the app store. I played it up to the first fight and i see its taking up 945MB on my phone. So not sure if the extra size is because of me playing or something else.

I just have a hard time believing that 2.4GB is not enough for a 1.25GB game.

EDIT: Just tried restarting it and still getting the message.

I guess when u try installing from the appstore. It needs double the size of the mentioned app. Reason is that first it will download the ipa file and then will install it which will take same amount of data again.
