Not enough space to upgrade because iCloud "smart" sync

My 13" MacBook has a 128Gb SSD and my iCloud plan that Share with my iMac that has 500Gb SSD is 256Gb
Smart iCloud file download usually handle pretty well the situation but Big Sur installation program tells me that I can't upgrade because I don't have enough space
