So how much do you like your iPod?

I am gonna be getting a 2G nano 2gb :apple: this weekend.

Any helpful tips/advice for me?

What are you coming from? Another MP3 player? CDs? Radio? Would help to pin down how to advise you.

Anyhow, try just loading up your music and going into shuffle mode. It's amazing how simple and enjoyable music can be again.

I have an iPod Photo, but my sister got a pink nano for Christmas. It's very nice, and very VERY small. :)

I'd suggest you get AppleCare (I'd have a dead iPod without it) and a good case.

I love mine. It's a 1G 4GB Nano. I never had any problems with it, but apple care would probably be a good idea to get.

I used to have a CD player... Never owned a MP3 player before (So I am super excited) I LOVE music! And I already have a large iTunes collection.

Apple care sounds like a good idea. I am a student so I can get it for only $31

iPod are very very nice...I got a Mini used, it but then slowed down before I got my Mac, with a Mac its makes it SO easy to sync everything it now use my iPod every day.

Also the Mac was mine so I used it more(more time of computer=for music=more reasons for iPod)

Honestly I can't see my self without an iPod

How do you guys protect your ipods?

Do you put screen protectors on?

Any cases? Wondering what I should buy...

My wife uses the iSkin Claro: http://www.iskin.com/ . It's nice because it has a silicon skin and a hard case that goes over it. Despite the fact that two coverings are used, the total width of the two covers is quite thin, and the clear casing maintains the integrity of the iPod's design.
