Not flush: Screen and SIM card tray

The sim card tray is not flush along the body. It's recessed.
Rubbing the edge of the screen along the body on the left side, you can feel the bump of the metal. (Basically if you follow the middle row of the keyboard, where the letter A Is) On the other side it's not.
Is this something covered under warranty, I.e. for craftsmanship

I'm not surprised with the sim tray. Just go into your local Apple Store and have a look. I will bet some phones have a sim tray that sticks out a little, some have a sim tray where it is sunk in a little and some where it sticks out slightly at one end and in at the other!

In my experience this is a common thing with iPhones, from the 2G all the way through to the 7 plus. I've had variations of all of the above, even on iPads! I assume apple will have some sort of tolerance for this. I believe the sim trays are made separately.

Screen doesn't sound right though, its difficult to get what you mean from your description. I would take it to the store and have them take a look!
