Not getting text notifications

Ever since the update, I am randomly not getting text messages on my Apple Watch and it's causing issues with me missing things because I'm away from my phone and assuming nobody is contacting me when in fact they are and I come back to a series of them on my phone. This started with 17.2 for me.

I have checked the settings -- they are set to mirror iPhone. I have rebooted both devices. Nada -- still not getting them on the watch the majority of the time.

Any suggestions?

Join the club. This is nothing new but may have gotten worse with watchOS 10.
