Not getting widgets on my MBA

Hi all,

I am currently using a 2012 11" MBA. I noticed that I do not get the option to add notification centre widgets to my MBA. When I click on edit, there are no options available.

Conversely, I am able to add widgets like Calculator and Airmail to my iMac. Not sure what the problem is. I have tried reinstalling the apps, to no avail.

What do you mean, reinstalling the apps? Apple apps come preinstalled, you should see them.
For 3rd party apps, go to system preferences - extensions - today.

What do you see?
