I have been using a new MBP for the last week or so and i love it. Today i went on to my mums laptop running vista. i had forgotten how slow it was running any apps. The Vista laptop had a duel core cpu and 3gb ram. from that i have decided that i am not going back to PC (Unless work makes me).

welcome to the insanity. i've been windows clean for 14 months now.:D

Well done. Unfortunately i have to use windows for work but i have a terminal server i can use so no need to boot in to my boot-camp partition. :D

I know exactly how you feel. I switched in early 2007, and I'm thankful that at work I and anyone else who chooses to is allowed to work on a Mac. I haven't had a need for Windows in months!

However, I do get reminded about Windows every time I get a call for help from someone who is having issues and needs it fixed. every time I get in front of a WIndows XP machine, it's a bit of a shock how... dated.. the interface looks. And while XP is usually okay speed wise, the computers running Vista are SO slow.
