Not receiving my emails on Plus.

I'm not sure if anyone else has issues with this but I'm not receiving my email notifications. I would have to click the Mail icon and refresh the inbox to receive my emails. I want to know instantly that I have mail, do I need to do something or do I have a faulty device?

Do you have it set to push or fetch? If push, you should get them right away.

My exchange mails are also delayed. Sometimes not coming in until I turn the screen on, even though the time stamp is 30+ minutes earlier sometimes.

If it's gmail, instant push is an issue on google's end of things and not related to apple or your phone. If instant notification is crucial, you may want to use a different mail app. Mailbox, for example, gets instant notifications.

You have to flip the switch that says 'Push' at the top and turn it on as well as going into each mailbox below it and setting it to push as well if you'd like it to be.

I use Hotmail. It's on Push. My old 5 never had this problem. Probably a glitch, hoping future update will fix it?

Hotmail/ outlook has push. Did you choose outlook in setup? Like this:
