About 4-5 days ago, I applied online through the Apple retail site. On the sidebar where it says "What to expect," they said I would be getting an automated email confirmation each time my resumé is successfully submitted for an open position. However, I applied to three different positions open positions, and I have yet to receive an automated email. And when I log in and click on "My Positions & Assessments" it seems to shows that I've applied to those three open positions and under action it says "Assessment" with a link--and when I click on it, it just goes back to my profile... I was wondering if this is normal or if I'm missing something.
Also, when I upload a formatted resume and go back to my profile, it seems to disappear. I've tried uploading .pdf's, .docs, and even .pages. I've tried to upload the documents from different machines as well. My macbook pro at the UCLA dorms as well as my home computer and the uploaded resume doesn't seem to stick. Is this normal?
