Not receiving text messages from AT&T carriers on my new Verizon iPhon

Hi Everyone, I just made the switch from At&T to Verizon and I kept my number, I've had friends from At&T texting me throughout the last three days and I never receive the messages. Any idea what the problem is? Will I ever be able to receive At&T texts on my new Verizon iPhone? Thanks!

That happens a lot for some reason and happens both ways, usually it is someone on VZW regardless of what phone they have that sends a message to an AT&T phone that never arrives. Maybe try calling VZW about it.

You may need to call both AT&T and Verizon. Usually when your port a number it only takes a day or two for everything to completely switch over. There may just be something held up and it's most likely due to having your number ported over.
