Not Receiving Text Messages on Jailbroken iPhone

So i recently jailbroke my iPhone 3g, and everything was going fine. After jailbreaking I switched my service to T-mobile pay as you go and my messaging was working. After I switched to a monthly plan, I realized I was able to send texts, but not able to receive any text messages. Are there any apps in Cydia that are causing this problem? I called T-mobile and had them reconfigure the phone, and according to them everything on their end is working fine. They told me to call apple, but seeing as my phone is 3 years old and jailbroken, calling Apple is pretty much useless. Any tips/ things to try? Thanks!

I tried that and it did not work. I realized I do receive texts from verizon numbers, but no other service provider. Help!!

Try turning airplane mode on and off.

Noope, still doesn't work.

Go to settings/general/network and shut off your data and 3g off restart your phone, turn your phone back on and turn date/3g back on.
