Not Receiving Text Msg Notification when Phone is Locked

I don't hear the text message tone when my phone is locked, but I'm receiving texts fine. I checked the notifications and "Show on Lock Screen" is selected, so I don't know what the problem could be. Any ideas?

Disregard. I figured it out. I had the person on "Do not disturb"

Never knew that feature existed.
