Ok, i have this issue.

When i download or create any file i cant see it on my finder, but if i for example go to my dock, click to my downloads folder i can see the file i downloaded, if i click it, i'll appear on my finder window....

my main issue is that i have a second hdd with my home folder and i made a clean format and everything was ok but when i changed the home folder to my hdd (my OSX is on a ssd), the issue started again...

i have another issue that may help, i cant see the images (DMG) icon, it appear a blank box with interlined line on the edges.

Sorry for my bad english =3

How did you move your home folder off your system drive? Perhaps the method you used is what is causing your problems. Try restoring your home folder back to the system drive and see if that resolves your problem.

i made a clean format, in first boot, use the pref->account->home folder option

=(

is there a way, to delete the preferences of a home folder?, maybe going back to the original home, delete user library and then going back, that should do it right?
