Not sure where to post this, what combination I connect and where to connect all my monitors and macs.
So I Have an L Desk, and I Have a MBP (Early 2008 with a full DVI Port), Powermac G5 With a DVI Port & ACD Port, and a iMac Mid 2010 with a Mini DP to DVI Adapter. But I Have 4 Monitors, 20 Inch Apple Cinema Display, 20 Inch Samsung Syncmaster, 20 inch Soyo Display, and a 15 inch Portrait Dell Monitor (the one that is sideways). Now I Only Have 1 DVI Cable, but I Have 2 DVI to VGA Adapters, So my question is, How would you setup 4 monitors with 3 macs that only have DVI?
This is what I Think, but im not sure, I Use the MacBook Pro the Most, iMac Second, and Powermac G5 least (its mainly a Home Server).
MacBook Pro > Cinema Display (Cinema Display has a DVI Cable built in)
iMac > DVI Cable > Samsung Syncmaster
Powermac G5 > DVI to VGA Adapter > Soyo Display
But I Still have the Dell Monitor Left over, What Could I Do with it? Is there an adapter for the iMac or MBP that allows 2 displays over 1 port?
