I have an M1 Air and I connect to my monitor but recently when I try to watch YouTube the video is like it is in super speed and rushes through to the end. If I disconnect from my monitor the video will play fine on my Air, it has only recently started doing this.

Restart safari on the new monitor. Quit completely or restart. I’ve had that happen a couple of times in Windows with Firefox and Chrome.
