How about splitting the powerpc section up into

1. PowerPC

A. Laptops
a. PowerBook
b. iBook

B. Desktops
a. iMac
b. PowerMac
c. Mac Mini

C. Legacy devices

Seems a bit better than having it all mixed. If its been asked just lock this thread.

I've thought about asking this myself, but unfortunately it seems the PPC section doesn't really get the activity necessary to warrant creating these sub-forums. It is unorganized, but there isn't a problem of having to sift through tons of new threads to find one you're interested in, it's all pretty much right there.

Nope... The PPC section doesn't get nearly enough activity to warrant subforums.

I don't see this really working so well, given that most people are on the intel platform and the PPC sub forum is not that active.

Even if they just did

1. PowerPC

A. Laptops

B. Desktops

C. Legacy (pre-G3)

You run the risk of not having people visiting one or some of those forums and so asking questions in there would not be overly helpful since the odds of having someone see the post would be much smaller.
