I'm siiting here awaiting my iMac to restore! All of a sudden this evening we lost all connectivity. Started with my wife's Macbook Air. In an attempt to make sure all was good with our network I restarted my iMac.
I'm sure that was a mistake. Upon the mac rebooting I got the O with a slash through it.
When it booted, the OSX utility screen popped up. Not many options to choose from, so I opted for the restore option. Being that I have an external HD setup and Time Machine backs it up, I figured all would be well.
Hopefully by morning all will be back to normal.
Not sure what happened, but whatever it was our total network went down.
UPDATE: Ended up having to reinstall ML. Things seem to be okay except for my bookmarks bar and my back up. Keeps telling me backup failed because there is not enough space on the disk, I am confused. Oh well, at least I'm up and running, will figure the rest out eventually.
