I have a husband that is not computer proficient at all and in my case, it doesn't come naturally but I am better than the average person, which isn't saying much
LOL
I need some help setting my systems up

Under My mac Account:

27" retina iMac - Yosmite

Under His mac Account:

iPad 4 - Latest OS
iPhone 5 - Latest OS

I have a MBP late 2011 which I always had under my account but for the sake of synching, I am thinking it might be best to set it up to his account so it can be used for backing up his iPhone, iPad, contacts etc.
But I don't want to run Yosemite on it for a few reasons and would prefer Maverick.

My retina iMac is set to MY mac address

I want to change my MBP and make it to my husbands address so it will synch with his iPhone and iPad but I have to do it, he won't know how.
But I am not going to put the late 2011 MBP to Yosemite, only Maverick

Naturally, the retina iMac is my main computer is the main one so its set to run
movies on it, through airplay onto the TV.

WHAT I NEED TO DO if possible, is connect HIS macbook pro so it can use the Apple TV to run movies on the MBP hard drive, to the TV But as in a different account with mac, his.

Can that be done?
I guess under Family?

And if it can be done is there anything else I need to know, in order to have ours set up on our separate mac accounts but still sharing as we would still at least share the same wifi, etc???

I have to look after all this myself and its just so much work so looking for a somewhat easy way to do this but I DO need to maintain the two separate mac addresses.

At present I have the ONE + ONE android phone which I absolutely love BUT its just one more thing to synch so I think i will have to sell it and get the iPhone 6+ just to make it easier to synch my clambers, contacts but again that would be under my account so that i can deal with when i do it :)

Thanking anyone in advance.......
