Am going away for a few days ... is being left behind. What is best? Turn the watch off; let the battery run down: or keep it charging for 4 days straight?

I posted the same question here over the weekend The best answer I got was that for the health of the lithium ion battery you should discharge the watch to around 60% and then shut it off and leave it off the charger.
Just turn the fricken thing off. When it's sitting in its little box on its way to you for weeks from manufacture to the door it's got some charge on it.

This! It's the same thing Apple say to do when leaving your phone unused for a while. Leave it at about 50% charge and turn it off, disconnected from everything.
