Hi, I have a mid 2014 MacBook pro 13inch laptop, and i just recently did a install ofhehe sierra over my current sierra to try and fix a problem, so I'm thinking that this may have caused this issue as i never used to have it before.

Randomly when I wake my Mac up from sleep (After closing the lid) i will wake up to a completely blank screen, however the mouse is still there and is moveable. If i click the enter button i will get a quick flash of the login screen, and then it returns the a blank screen.

A restart does not help, as it will show the apple logo and then boot to a blank login screen.

The only solution i have found is to enter my password on the blank screen and hit enter, and this is then bring me to the desktop with my screen working.

Any help would be great
