& not working in yahoo search

This is really weird but the & symbol doesn't work when i try to type it in the yahoo search bar! I have a black macbook(2.2). Yahoo search is the only site it doesn't work!

Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem might be. I have a white MacBook 2.2, and I am able to type the "&" symbol in the search bar at www.yahoo.com. BTW, I'm using 10.5.6, build 9G55. I'm using Firefox to surf the Web.

Im using safari abd the & works in google but not yahoo for some odd reason!
