I have an EDGE problem with my o2 non-iPhone-contract sim.
Ages ago when i brought my iPhone and jailbroke it with 1.0.2 the EDGE worked fine and the icon appeared in the top left.
But...ever since i updated to 1.1.1 > 1.1.2 and jailbroke it again the EDGE icon hasnt been appearing and the EDGE not working. BUT....ive just updated to 1.1.4 jailbroke and unlocked and the problem is still apparent.
I then had a play and put in my old Virgin Mobile Sim in and BANG, the EDGE icon appears and is working fine after putting the correct settings in.
I then put a o2 PAY & GO sim in and the EDGE icon was there and working fine also.
So, why is my EDGE not working with my o2 contract sim?
I have tried all the fixes for the problem around the internet but no joy.
It appears that the problem is infact the SIM due to the EDGE working with every other SIM ive tried.
Any ideas??
