Not your typical backup question

Im wondering what i should use for backup.
ive tryed many programs but they dont do what i want them to do

for my main setup i have my laptop drive and a external for video project files, and another external for backup.

i need ONE program that will backup my home folder, and my projects folder on the media drive to the backup drive. I'd like versioning but i dont necessarily need it.
