Note app with cross reference index

Hi there,

I really hope that you can help me.

I'm looking for a note app, where I can create index/table of content (toc) across my headings in multiple notes. For example:

If my note (1) is:
Heading 1>Hi there
subtext

and my second (2) note is:
Heading 1>hello
subtext
heading 2> how are you?
subtext

Then I wanna be able to make a new note and make a toc linking to my other notes. So the new note should automatically be something like:

1. Hi there
2. Hello
   
3. a. How are you?

And it should automatically update, if I make any changes in my headings in note 1 or 2.

I'm currently an Evernote premium user, but since Evernote wont let me format my notes with any headings, I find it impossible to use it the way I want.

Ive still haven't found a solution yet. Any help from you, would be MUCH appreciated.
