Note application

Hey im in college and need a good app for taking notes onto pdf's. I scanned in a workbook that one of my teachers gave me but the preview app doesnt work that well with the sorta stickies it puts up. Is there anything better out there. Thanks you for any replies

Skitch is great if you can get an invite, but if not, Leopard should come out in 16 days, and the Preview app in that has simple editing features
