hi guys I find myself taking notes when im on the go. I use the SE 1st gen and I find I still use two hands to type things quick on that tiny keyboard, often making errors. I like little phones but does having the 6.1 inch or even the Max make typing more convenient with bigger buttons? or are the phones too top heavy and rarely make a difference in typing errors? I want to be able to do quick pull out and convenient note typing with both thumbs without the top of phone weighing it down. typing with one thumb is too slow and I get errors. which size is right for me would you say? whats your experience with typing and phone sizes?

As a scatterbrained uni student, I take a fair few notes whilst out and about with my phone. Hell I’ve even written a good 6-700 words towards assignments on my iPhone before when I’ve had a great idea and no other device with me.
I started this year with the original SE but always found the keyboard a bit cramped for getting the words out of my head quick enough. I moved up to the XR around Easter and the typing difference on the 6.1 inch screen was amazing, it was actually big enough to have 2 thumbs moving around at speed and I made a lot less text entry errors.
I think you would probably find the 6.1 inch screens on the 12 and 12 Pro a lot easier to deal with than the max or the mini. The mini isn’t much wider than your current SE, but the lack of bezel means the screen stretches right out to the edge and would make it harder to type at speed.
