I need more iOS note taking apps like I need herpes. I don't get why developers don't exploit the fact that there's no such software on Android and go grab that entire market, instead of releasing yet another app on iOS.

Does NoteLedge have a zoom box feature with auto-advance (ability to write continuously) for taking handwritten notes??

Zoom boxes have become standard on nearly all the major note-taking apps, Notability, Notes Plus, Note Taker HD, Noteshelf, etc...for a reason--it's necessary. If this app is truly about taking useful handwritten notes, then this feature is a must have. Otherwise it's impossible to write small enough to maintain legible, orderly, efficient and effective notes.

I have researched and/or purchased over 20 different apps and I have yet to find everything I need in one app:

1. Photo-Editing (including rotate!)
2. Audio Recording (ultimate would be having words, handwritten and text-entered, sync with the audio...general recordings are fine though)
3. No annoying text boxes required when entering typed words
4. Ability to lasso and move both handwritten and typed words
5. Shape Recognition
6. Insert tables
7. Annotate PDFs
8. Connect to other devices on the same wifi network, ie. iPhone photos imported directly to app, rather than by exporting them to a 3rd party first
9. Compatible with the usual suspects (Evernote, Dropbox, GoogleDocs, etc..)

A handful of apps include bits and pieces of all of the above. NoteLedge is the closest for my needs so far, however, the lack of a standard zoom box would be a deal-breaker. I really hope I'm wrong, because I can't believe something so integral would be left out of this otherwise robust program. And I do hope that the Navigator isn't meant to be a replacement, as you can't see what or really where you are writing until it is moved out of the way.

Because it's dirt simple to develop for iOS. But making this kind of quality on Android is just a big fat headache.

His lack of response tells me that the answer is NO.

The closest I've found to what you want (which is very close to my needs as well), is Notes Plus. When you start a recording, it will kind of sync with the note, because when you turn the page, the recording will break there and seamlessly continue on the next page. So when you listen to the recording along with reading your notes, what you hear will correlate to what you're reading. I have heard, though, that if you flip back to the previous page while recording and writing, it will mess it up. I haven't tried doing that to prove or disprove.

Also, the $2 convert-to-text is a very accurate feature. I was actually shocked at how well it converted what I wrote because I write as bad as a doctor.

I have the same opinion. But from a developer stand point, they'd probably make more on iOS than Android.
