Hi

I'm the co-developer of iFont, an app which lets you install fonts from sources such as Google Fonts and DaFont for use in apps such as Pages, MS Word and Notability on your iPhone or iPad.

One of the things we are always asked about is how to use different fonts when sending messages. Apple restrict how the fonts can be used, so you can't change the system font or use it arbitrarily in apps (iOS 13 is a step in the right direction here, allowing fonts in Mail messages).

To help with this, we've created Notepad by iFont. It can be used as a standalone app or as an iMessage app, and lets you send messages as images in different fonts. You can customise the size, colour and alignment and send the message in a tap.

Of course, Notepad by iFont integrates perfectly with iFont, so you can install whatever font you'd like and access it within Messages.

It's a free download, and we'd love any feedback you may have. We have a long development roadmap for the app, and hope to add the ability to set pictures/patterns as the message background, gradient options for text and background colours, among many other things.
