It happens to me now and again.
I just delete one of them.

This typically happens when I update the note from my iPad (and it's offline for some reason) and edit the same note on my iPhone (and it's offline). Rather than overwrite either, Apple plays it safe and keeps both.

The only Apple product I own is an iPhone, and yet I still get duplicated notes now and again. So long as iCloud doesn't delete anything, it's ok!

Yeah I had same issue so I just deleted one of them. Everything is fine.
