Notes app freezing on launch for a few seconds. Anybody else?

At first, I thought having a lot of scanned documents in my Notes app caused it to freeze on launch. So I deleted all of them. Still freezing. But then I remembered I was running beta software. Duh 🤦🏻‍♂️. Is it freezing for anybody else though?

Not here.. But I've never used i to save notes.

Everything fine here with a lot of notes...

Not specific to Ventura but I have always found that Notes doesn't open properly and I have to click the recent apps icon in the dock to get it to appear on the screen

I was able to fix the issue by turning off Notes in iCloud settings and turning it back on to resync it.
