Notes App - Glitch?

I can't seem to add any new notes in the Notes app. Clicking the icon on the top left icon does nothing, and everytime I type something and quit/re-open the app, the text disappears. Whilst typing in the app, the "funk" sound plays for every letter I press.

Is there any way of fixing this? (resetting the app?)
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
Am I just stupid? Haha :rolleyes:
