Apps Notes App?

I wonder why Apple has not made their notes app work with the Watch. That's too bad because it would be nice to have them work together. Any good suggestions as to a different app that would sync lists and notes between iPhone and Watch.

I have some text notes, that I keep in 1password, which gives me also easy access to them on the watch. Nice feature, if you already use 1password. SnipNotes looked interesting as well.
