notes crashing and ML constantly working the HD...help!

Hey I just installed Mountain Lion on a 2009 iMac. Guess I shouldn´t have done that.

Notes wont open. Every time I open it, it crashes after a few seconds, says "notes quit unexpectedly". I tried google it - with no luck. Is there a way to reinstall a program from Mountain Lion ?

this is details I get:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'MFSQLiteException', reason: 'checking for existence of object'
abort() called
terminate called throwing an exception

also Mountain Lion seem to scratch awfully a lot to my HDD, as if it´s constantly working on something. THough, I got 8 gigs of ram, so it shouldn´t be that ram is full. ....?? :( any help ?
