I just recently purchased a new iPhone 4s. I have set up iCloud to sync my contacts and mail, and at first notes also with my MacBook. Then I discovered that a copy of new or updated notes would appear in my macmail. Not being experienced with the whole iCloud and syncing thing, I deleted the notes from my inbox, only to discover that this act also deleted them from my phone. I went into settings to see if there was something there I needed to adjust. I finally turned syncing of notes off in the phone settings. But this did not help-I still get a copy of new/updated notes on the MacBook from my phone, and they are now piling up in my inbox as I do not need them deleted from my phone. Is there something I can do to keep notes on my phone only?
