One time I was writing down some info into a note in Notes.app when it suddenly disappeared without a trace with no explanation. Other times Notes has crashed for no reason.

Today I was working in Notes and the same thing happened, I wasn't too pleased. Now I remember it's title so I searched for it in Spotlight and found it, it opened in a floating window. Now the problem is I can't close it, after all it technically doesn't exist. If you try and click x Notes simply crashes, after reopening Notes the note is still there.

Do you think this is due to having my Notes synced with iCloud? I almost un ticked the sync option but it said it would delete all the notes on my Mac :(

I am trying to make myself like this clunky skeuomorphic bloater of an app but Apple makes it so hard (same applies to Reminders).
