Notes Synch?

Is there a way to load your "notes" from the iphone to your mac? Notes entered through the Mail app seem to get synched to the iphone, but it doesn't seem to work the other way around if the note is entered on the iphone.

I'm asking because I loaded the 3.0GM, and set it up as a new phone to get around some lagging issues. When I synched all my mail/calendar/playlists/etc, I noticed that my notes didn't get seem to get synch'ed.
