Notes synchronisation with gmail ont working

Hello,

I am a new iPad user. Last time I have configured my gmail account on my pad everything worked fine, only one thing is not working.
I have noticed that notes is not synching with the gmail account. The version of iOS is the last one 4.3.
When I go to the settings and after the notes tab I have nothing. It's very curious because it's working well on my iPhone. On my iPhone when I do the same I have a tab inside notes settings saying "default account"

Do you have the same issue? Is there a solution to make it work. ?
