Two days ago my MBP stopped ejecting discs, or disc images, and will not empty the trash. It still gives me the icons for ejecting and such, but does nothing. However, if I open Disk Utility and tell it to eject the disk from within the utility, it works fine. Also, in finder if I tell it to "securely empty the trash" that works as well. The program Cocktail also is successful if I Force Empty the trash. I've repaired permissions. Any ideas?
