Hi There

Last night I added the "date added" column on my exFat32 external hard drive. Unfortunately nothing appeared. "date modified" and "date created" are showing their respective dates however just some blank hypens under "date added". Its playing havoc with my music folder!

After indexing a couple of times still no luck. Ive tried indexing through the system preferences add/remove mode and the terminal sudo method. What I have also noticed is that under downloads folder in the internal drive the date added column displays but if i transfer to the external it disappears? Any suggestions guys?

Running Mountain Lion OS X 10.8.3.

Thanks!

Wow thats the worst news I've heard all year. Spotlight works on FAT32 though according to a few other forums and web articles? Thanks for the reply.

Praying someone out there has some sort of loophole solution or advises me on a possible solution.

FAT32 is not ExFAT.

I never have ExFAT, had an empty USB stick so I just formatted it and added a few files, no Date added visible so it might be a bug or just not supported.
